This gluten-free noodle and vegetable wok is not a typical recipe per se, but it is Asian-style because of the sesame oil, the seeds, the noodles, and the soy or tamari sauce.

Tips:

  • We used some noodles made with brown rice and millet flour, although we also used buckwheat noodles a lot. You can use any pasta; it doesn't have to be Asian pasta.
  • We recently discovered sesame oil, and it adds a unique twist to Asian dishes. If you don't have one, use the fat you have on hand, although I advise you to avoid refined oils.
  • You can use the vegetables and the sweetener you want because this recipe is straightforward and looks good.
  • If there are no cayenne peppers in your country, use any other type of chilli or chilli.
  • To make this dish without oil, you can blanch the vegetables in boiling water or steam them.
  • Be careful because soy sauce usually contains gluten; use tamari if you cannot consume it.
