Tips:

  • Use whatever fruits and herbs you want.
  • You can eat the fruit when the water is ready or use it to make green smoothies or any recipe you can think of.
  • The water can be macerated at room temperature, but I like to leave it in the fridge and drink it cool, especially when it's hot.
  • Ideally, use the fruit only once, but if you want, you can reuse it. I do not recommend that you reuse it more than twice.

Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • Six strawberries
  • Two kiwis
  • Two lemons
  • A handful of peppermint
  • 1 litre of water (4 cups)

Ingredients SCALE (2x)

  • 12 strawberries
  • Four kiwis
  • Four lemons
  • A handful of peppermint
  • 2 litres of water (8 cups)

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • 18 strawberries
  • Six kiwis
  • Six lemons
  • A handful of peppermint
  • 3 litres of water (12 cups)

Instructions

  1. Wash the fruits, cut them into slices and pour them into a jug or container.
  2. Add the mint leaves and water.
  3. Stir and let it rest for at least an hour. You can let it marinate for 12 or 24 hours. The longer it is mashing, the more flavour it will have.
