I am icy, so hot drinks accompany me throughout the cold season because they help me warm up and feel sooooo good that I cannot resist their charms, that's why I have been experimenting until I found the hot chocolate perfect vegan, and I found it!

Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • 2 cups of almond milk (500 ml)
  • Two tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Four tablespoons cornstarch
  • Four tablespoons of ground panela, brown or coconut sugar
  • Coconut cream (optional)
  • Dried cranberries (optional)

Ingredients SCALE (2x)

  • 4 cups of almond milk (1000 ml)
  • Four tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Eight tablespoons cornstarch
  • Eight tablespoons of ground panela, brown or coconut sugar
  • Coconut cream (optional)
  • Dried cranberries (optional)

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • 6 cups of almond milk (1500 ml)
  • Six tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 12 tablespoons of ground panela, brown sugar or coconut
  • Coconut cream (optional)
  • Dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the milk, cocoa, cornstarch and brown sugar in a bowl until well integrated.
  2. Heat the mixture in a saucepan or pot over high heat until it starts to boil and then over medium heat, stirring from time to time until it thickens.
  3. We serve and decorate to our liking. We add some coconut cream and chopped dried cranberries as toppings.
