Easy Olive Tapenade Recipe

Tapenade is one of those recipes that, despite not having a very delicious look, or being very photogenic, to say the least, surprises you with its delightful flavour.

It is a typical condiment of Provence that is usually served spread on toast. 

The original recipe usually uses anchovies, but our version is 100% vegetable, and it's to die for!

This tapenade recipe tastes so fresh and comes together so quickly! Serve this French olive spread with crackers, cheese plates or sandwiches.

Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • 100 grams of black olives
  • Two teaspoons capers
  • Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • One tablespoon of lemon juice
  • One teaspoon thyme
  • One teaspoon rosemary
  • Pepper to taste

Ingredients SCALE (2x)

  • 200 grams of black olives
  • Four teaspoons capers
  • Four tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Two tablespoons lemon juice
  • Two teaspoon thyme
  • Two teaspoon rosemary
  • Pepper to taste

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • 300 grams of black olives
  • Six teaspoons capers
  • Six tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Three tablespoon lemon juice
  • Three teaspoon thyme
  • Three teaspoon rosemary
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. We put the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until they are well integrated, and we have our tapenade ready to serve.
  2. We can put the tapenade in a jar or container and store it in the fridge. The ideal is to consume it in 3 or 4 days.
