This ice cream has become one of our favourites, and it is so easy to prepare that we are in love with it

You can do it with or without a refrigerator; you will love it both ways.

To make this Oreo ice cream, you only need four ingredients. You can prepare it with or without a refrigerator, and it is 100% vegetable.

Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • 1 litre of soy milk (4 cups)
  • 200 millilitres of soy cream (6.8 fl oz)
  • Four tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 14 Oreos

Ingredients SCALE (2x)

  • 2 litres of soy milk (8 cups)
  • 400 millilitres of soy cream (13 3/5 fluid ounces)
  • Eight tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 28 Oreos

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • 3 litres of soy milk (12 cups)
  • 600 millilitres of soy cream (20 2/5 fl oz)
  • 12 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 42 Oreos

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy milk, cream and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Scoop the Oreo cookies into small pieces. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for at least 4 hours. If you are not going to use a refrigerator, you can skip this step.
  3. For the option with a refrigerator, you have to put the container in which the ice cream is made in the freezer 24 hours before making it. With the fridge mounted and on, add the mixture and follow the instructions for your machine. In our refrigerator, the ice cream is usually ready in about 40 minutes.
  4. You have to put the bowl with the mixture in the freezer for 7 or 8 hours for the option without a refrigerator, depending on the texture you want to achieve. So that no crystals come out, you have to stir it every half hour for at least the first 2 or 3 hours.
