Vegan Hummus Sandwich Recipe

Hummus Sandwich: Making vegan sandwiches is so easy. I like to include some fat or vegetable pate to be juicier and raw or cooked vegetables.

Making vegan sandwiches is very easy, but since it is common to use cold cuts or cheeses, at first, it can seem like an odyssey.

I like to include some fat or vegetable pate to make it juicier and combine it with all kinds of raw or cooked vegetables. 

This hummus sandwich takes less than 5 minutes and is incredibly tasty.

You can add your favourite vegetables and if you have a little more time and want something warm, try toasting the bread and adding grilled vegetables, in addition to the hummus (I recommend that you do not heat it).

Hummus and avocado are my go-to toppings for sandwiches; I rarely add at least one of the two.

The ideal is to prepare hummus at home because it is straightforward, fast, healthy, and more affluent.

Ingredients

  • Slices of your favourite bread
  • Hummus
  • Cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Spread the hummus on one of the two slices of bread (or both).
  2. Add slices of cucumber and tomato to taste.
  3. Add salt and black pepper.
  4. Enjoy your sandwich!
