Chocolate Oatmeal Porridge
This Chocolate Oatmeal Porridge is ready in 15 minutes and is so delicious it's hard to believe it's so easy to make.

It is the ideal breakfast!

You only need five ingredients to make this healthy recipe: coconut milk, water, oatmeal, cocoa and your favourite sweetener.

On top, I have added strawberries, grated coconut and chocolate chips, but you can use your favourite toppings and not add anything else; it is not necessary.

I have mixed water with coconut milk to make the porridge creamy but lower in calories

You can use other vegetable milk; for example, those made with nuts are also creamy, although they have less fat than coconut milk.

If you prefer, you can use oat milk, rice or quinoa since they are lighter and are also very rich.

Another option is to use only water.

As a sweetener, I usually use agave syrup, maple syrup, dates or coconut sugar.

On this occasion, I have preferred to add sugar, but you can use the sweetener you want and add more or less amount, depending on how sweet you like the porridge.

I recommend using cocoa without added sugar because it is healthier.

The carob powder is also very rich and has no caffeine, but I like cocoa butter.

Gluten feels terrible to me, but oats do not; it is not considered a cereal with gluten and celiacs are allowed to take it in many countries.

If you cannot handle gluten, I recommend following the instructions and advice from your doctor.

There are no excuses to enjoy a good breakfast.

It only takes 15 minutes to prepare this porridge.

They are healthier and lighter than industrial pastries or typical breakfast cereals; they are vegan and have no cholesterol.

If you prefer to avoid saturated fats, you can substitute coconut milk for another vegetable milk; I usually use oat milk every day.
