  • Split the pods in half lengthwise.
  • Pour the pods into a glass jar or bottle and cover with the vodka.
  • Close the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place.

Advice

  • You don't need to use high-quality alcohol; a cheap one works perfectly.
  • Ideally, please wait at least three months before using it, although you need to leave it for a month. The more time passes, the more vanilla flavour it will have.
  • You can leave the pods in the extract or strain it when ready. I remove them every six months because from that moment on, they no longer add flavour, but it is not necessary.
  • You can also add more pods and more vodka as you use it or re-prepare it from scratch.

  • Six vanilla beans

Instructions
