I had wanted to prepare this recipe for a long time; it is called corn chowder in English, it is a typical soup from the United States, and I did not know how to translate it to stay in corn chowder. ?

Corn Chowder: This corn chowder is our version of a typical American recipe called Corn Chowder. It is delicious, and it takes 30 minutes to prepare.
ADVICE:

  • You can use the vegetable milk you want.
  • We use frozen corn, but you can use another kind of corn (fresh, canned, etc.), although you may have to cook it for more or less time.
  • You can peel the potatoes or not; I leave it to your choice.
  • We love apple cider vinegar because it is very healthy and has a fairly neutral flavour compared to other vinegar, but you can use the one you have at home or the one you like the most.
  • The soy or tamari sauce gives the soup an intense flavour, and if you don't like it, you can use sea salt or herb salt.

Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • One onion
  • Two cloves of garlic
  • One red bell pepper
  • One sprig of celery
  • Two medium potatoes
  • 4 cups of corn (540 g)
  • 3 cups of water (750 ml)
  • 1 cup of soy milk (250 ml)
  • One teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • Two tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Two tablespoons nutritional or beer yeast
  • Four tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
  • Black pepper to taste

  • Two onion
  • Four cloves of garlic
  • Two red pepper
  • Two sprigs of celery
  • Four medium potatoes
  • 8 cups of corn (1080 g)
  • 6 cups of water (1500 ml)
  • 2 cup of soy milk (500 ml)
  • Two teaspoons sweet paprika
  • Four tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Four tablespoons nutritional or beer yeast
  • Eight tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
  • Black pepper to taste

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • Three onion
  • Six cloves of garlic
  • Three red pepper
  • Three sprigs of celery
  • Six medium potatoes
  • 12 cups of corn (1620 g)
  • 9 cups of water (2250 ml)
  • 3 cup of soy milk (750 ml)
  • Three teaspoons sweet paprika
  • Six tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Six tablespoons nutritional or beer yeast
  • 12 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the vegetables.
  2. In a pot, heat the water, and when it starts to boil, add the vegetables and corn. Cook over medium-high heat until tender.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir and cook for five more minutes. If you see that the soup is dehydrated, add more water.
  4. Beat about 1/3 of the soup in the mixer. Pour the mixture into the pot with the rest of the soup, stir and serve.
  5. To decorate, we add a little fresh parsley, red pepper and celery.
