Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • Six tablespoons raw or toasted tahini
  • The juice of 1 lemon and a half
  • 12 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Six tablespoons of water
  • Three teaspoon sea salt
  • Six teaspoons ground cumin
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 tablespoons nutritional or beer yeast
  • 3/4 of a cup of pine nuts (105 g)
  • Six handfuls of fresh basil (90 g)

Instructions

  1. We put all the ingredients in a food processor or a blender.
  2. Beat for about a minute or until the ingredients are perfectly integrated. Then, of course, the idea is to try the hummus if we need to rectify any component.
  3. We serve the hummus in a bowl and choose the accompaniment that we like the most: pita bread, crudités, nachos, etc. If you are not going to consume it immediately, store it in a supper or lunch box in the fridge, and it will last approximately five days.
