Sweet potato has never been eaten in my house, but now it is never missing in my kitchen; it is an ingredient that gives a lot of play, healthy and is to die for. It is perfect for making low-fat sweets because it gives it a lot of juiciness without adding oil or margarine.

  • Instead of oatmeal, you can use any other type of flour, but maybe you have to add more or less.

Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • 1 pound sweet potato or sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup of raw and unsalted almonds (75 g)
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats (60 g)
  • Ten tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • Six tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar

Ingredients SCALE (2x)

  • 900 g sweet potato or sweet potato (2 pounds)
  • 1 cup of raw and unsalted almonds (150 g)
  • 1 cup of rolled oats (120 g)
  • 20 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 12 tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • 1350 g of sweet potato or sweet potato (3 pounds)
  • 1 1/2 cup of raw and unsalted almonds (225 g)
  • 1 1/2 cup of rolled oats (180 g)
  • 30 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 18 tablespoons coconut sugar or brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the sweet potato, chop it up, and steam it or cook it in plenty of boiling water until tender (about 25 minutes). Let it cool down to room temperature.
  2. Preheat your oven to 180ºC or 355ºF.
  3. Blend the almonds in the food processor.
  4. Add the oats and blend again.
  5. Add the cocoa, sugar and sweet potato and blend until you get a smooth paste.
  6. Pour the dough into a baking tin or pan lined with greaseproof paper (that way, it won't stick) and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes. The time may vary depending on your oven.
  7. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes and cut it into small pieces.
