I don't get tired of smoothies; it is rare in the morning that I don't have one for breakfast, and I always try to add fruits and vegetables in season because they are more nutritious and economical. 

The flavour of this pumpkin smoothie reminds me of the typical American pumpkin tarts, and it is so rich that it is sad that it runs out. 

Who would have told me years ago that smoothies would be my favourite breakfast because before, I wouldn't say I liked fruits or vegetables, and I ate them out of obligation?

I have used the cashew milk that I made for the previous entry. I have to admit that that milk has me in love; it is not the cheapest option because cashews are expensive, but it is so rich that it is worth indulging even if it is occasionally. 

On this occasion, I also added the pulp of the cashews that I had left when making the milk to take advantage of it, but it is not necessary; in fact, I usually do not make it, so I have not included it in the recipe.

You can use any homemade or purchased milk, although I recommend that you prepare them at home (you can find several recipes on the blog); they have nothing to do with taste, price and nutrients.

To make smoothies, especially those with green leaves, the ideal is to use a powerful blender and, if possible, a glass, because that way there is a more pleasant texture for the palate, although if you don't have one, don't worry, try to see how. Ingredients SCALE (1x)

  • 1 cup of ice (150 g)
  • 2 cups of cashew milk (500 ml)
  • 1 cup diced raw pumpkin (175 g)
  • One banana
  • Four dates
  • 1 or 2 cloves
  • One teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Ingredients SCALE (2x)

  • 2 cups of ice (300 g)
  • 4 cups of cashew milk (1000 ml)
  • 2 cup diced raw pumpkin (350 g)
  • Two banana
  • Eight dates
  • 2 or 2 nails
  • Two teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 of a teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Ingredients SCALE (3x)

  • 3 cups of ice (450 g)
  • 6 cups of cashew milk (1500 ml)
  • 3 cup diced raw pumpkin (525 g)
  • Three banana
  • 12 dates
  • 3 or 2 nails
  • Three teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/8 of a teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 3/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and beat until they are perfectly integrated.
  2. The ideal is to drink the shake at the moment to take advantage of all its nutrients, but if you are not going to drink it freshly, try not to drink it after 48 hours.
