Banana milk is a vibrant, inexpensive and healthy alternative to cow's milk, but best of all, children love it. You only need water and bananas, although you can add more ingredients to give your milk more flavour.

The essential ingredients are water and banana. You can also add some sweetener. We use dates because they are healthier and because we love their taste. 

If you don't like them or can't find them in your country, substitute another dried fruit or a natural sweetener and avoid white sugar, especially if you will consume milk often.

Another ingredient that adds a lot of flavours is vanilla. 

The ideal is to add a piece of a vanilla branch, vanilla powder or some extract that is as natural as possible; the problem is that the sections on the market usually contain sugar and additives, especially the most economical ones. 

If you want a cheaper option to pure vanilla, you can prepare homemade vanilla extract with vodka and vanilla branches; it is not the healthiest option, but it is cheap and, of course, much better than the packaged ones.

  • Three teaspoon vanilla extract or a slice of a vanilla bean

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and beat until well blended. Keep your banana milk in the fridge and consume it within 48 hours.
